GeoTrans has over 30 years experience in underground injection control (UIC) projects. Our staff of professionals assists clients in the permitting of different classes of injection wells regulated under the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), including Class I, II, and V injection wells. We were developers of one of the first groundwater models for assessing the effects of deep well injection into brine formations, and, since 1986, we have maintained and developed SWIFT, the popular, industry-standard groundwater model used for underground injection modeling as required by federal and state UIC permit regulations.
