GeoTrans has been helping private industry and state and local governments with wellfield management for over 20 years. Our technical services have helped clients to efficiently manage resources to provide a continuous and economically feasible water supply for domestic, agricultural, and manufacturing uses. Assisting clients optimize the economic development of water resources involves an integrated approach that includes:

• Inventorying existing water supply systems identifying resource and recharge/discharge areas, and coordinating the use of both ground and surface water resources
• Preparing groundwater budgets to identify safe yield and overdraft conditions
• Evaluating aquifer water quality trends and identifying historical clean-up areas
• Developing appropriate monitoring and wellhead protection programs

Key to our success is incorporating client's data into a database for the use and creation of subsequent programs. When appropriate, we utilize numerical models of specific groundwater basins for use as a management/planning tool. This also involves integrating GIS and other visualization tools to help better asses and develop water resources.
