Why GeoTrans?

Financial Stability

GeoTrans, Inc., founded in 1979, has more than 150 employees with offices nationwide and annual revenue of approximately $30 million per year. Furthermore, GeoTrans is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tetra Tech, Inc., a premier full-service engineering company. Tetra Tech has been publicly traded since 1989 (NASDAQ: TTEK), and has annual revenue of over $1 Billion. GeoTrans routinely performs projects valued in the millions of dollars, for large corporations and government agencies. This is in contrast relatively small "mom & pop" companies prevalent in the PV industry that have only a few years of history installing solar energy systems at residences. The fiscal stability that GeoTrans provides is of considerable value with respect to staffing jobs, providing warranties, and securing required materials.

Demonstrated Quality and Customer Service

GeoTrans prides itself on providing excellent customer service and quality work, which has translated into long-term relationships our biggest clients such as:

  • General Electric
  • ExxonMobil
  • Lockheed Martin
  • Motorola
  • Lucent
  • Halliburton
  • Merck
  • Alcoa
  • Waste Management
  • US Depratment of Energy
  • US Department of Defense
Established Partnerships

GeoTrans has established partnerships with multiple PV manufacturers:

  • RWE SCHOTT (including attendance at training course, 2004)
  • GE
  • Shell
  • Kyocera
  • Sharp (Including attendance at Training Course, 2004)

Because GeoTrans is not aligned with one specific PV manufacturer, we are able to offer our customers the best solution for their specific situation. In addition, GeoTrans is a participating member of the New Jersey Mid-Atlantic Solar Energy Industry Association.

Unique Expertise and Diversity of Services

The GeoTrans Energy Services Division offers unique expertise and diversity of services, including the following:

  • Health and Safety Expertise. GeoTrans is a very well known provider of environmental services, and a core aspect of that work is Health and Safety. We will get the job done safely!
  • Commitment to Renewable Energy and Sustainability. Our parent company, Tetra Tech, is a proud member of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, which recognizes Tetra Tech as an industry leader with respect to issues of sustainability.
