MODFLOW Data Reader
Modflow Data Reader by GeoTrans

The MODFLOW Data Reader (MDR) is an ArcView® GIS Software extension that imports MODFLOW input data sets into ArcView shape files. The optional version of the MDR can contour MODFLOW output data into lines and/or shaded model grid cells. The shape files created with the MDR are available for further processing in the ArcView Software environment.

MDR Main Screen

Key Features Include:

  • Imports any size MODFLOW model (layers, rows, columns, stress periods)
  • Automatically imports entire data sets
  • Imports steady state or transient data sets
  • User assigned translation and rotation

Hardware Requirements:

Pentium® processor (recommended); 32 MB RAM (minimum)

Software Requirements:

ArcView® GIS Version 3.1 by Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc.; Microsoft® Windows® 95, Windows® 98, or WindowsNT® 4.0 operating system

Technical Support:

Limited to two e-mails only. Additional technical support can be purchased in hourly increments.
