Tetra Tech GEO has designed and deployed virtually every type of conventional and innovative remediation technology to address releases of chemical constituents. From more than 25 years of designing remedial systems, Tetra Tech GEO has developed the qualitative skills to evaluate the performance of proposed remedies and the practical hands-on experience to design and implement cost-effective solutions. Areas of expertise include:

  • Product recovery including skimming and vacuum-enhanced skimming, and bioventing
  • Vapor treatment including soil vapor extraction (SVE) and sparging, and dual-phase extraction
  • Direct pre-construction coordination and communication activities with property owners, regulatory agencies, community organizations, and other involved stakeholders
  • Soil treatment using soil flushing, steam injection, hot air injection, conductive heating and eletro-magnetic heating
  • Groundwater treatment using in-situ chemical oxidation, six-phase heating, bioremediation and bioagumentation, HRC and ORC injection, monitor natural attenuation and extraction and treatment

Tetra Tech GEO has nationally-recognized expertise in the assessment and remediation of dense non-aqueous phase liquids (DNAPLs) and has prepared guidance documents on the subject for the USEPA, trade groups, and other organizations.
